Dr. Venus Seleme is a Board Certified Doctor in Chiropractic Medicine. She founded The Seleme Chiropractic and Wellness Center in April of 1999 where she has been healing patients in a clinical setting to “remove the interferences” that are blocking their goal of achieving perfect health. She is currently working toward obtaining her dual certification with the Board of Chiropractic Internist and Nutrition.
Dr. Seleme’s approach is based on her strong personal belief that “ the possibilities are endless in the healing of the body, mind and spirit” in order to overcome our health problems. There should be no limit on how we can achieve perfect health. Her style of healing takes into account how each and every one of us is structurally, biochemically as well as energetically different. She utilizes different adjusting techniques to address structural components of health, including visceral manipulation and cranial sacral therapy. Her nutritional focus is diverse as well, so that she can address the biochemical individuality of her patients’ specific needs.. Dr. Seleme does recognize that there is emotional energy that penetrates and affects the human organisms health as well, and utilizes Neuroemotional Technique (NET) and the REBA Test Device to remove the intereferences that may be contributing to symptoms in the overall wellbeing of her patients health. Sterling Harris is a Certified Hypnotist and NLP Master Practitioner with over twelve years experience.
He has a private hypnosis practice and also an NLP based training & coaching practice. Sterling is dedicated to sharing his skills to give people the tools they need to enjoy life to their fullest potential. He is a member of the Society of Applied Hypnosis, the International Medical & Dental Hypnosis Association, the National Guild of Hypnotists and the International NLP Training Association. Hours:

Andrea Kelliher is a nationally certified massage therapist with 8 years experience. She practices Swedish, deep tissue, pregnancy and hot stone massages.
Andrea also utilizes a GX-99 vibratory massage tool for specialized treatments addressing cellulite, lymphatic drainage, and exfoliation. Paraffin treatments and spray tanning are also available. Andrea is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (A.M.T.A.) and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork ® (NCBTMB). Hours:

Edie Griffith is the Office Manager for Seleme Chiropractic Wellness Center. She has been working with Dr. Seleme for the last five years. Her background is working in medical offices as an assistant, secretary and office manager for the past 10 to 15 years.

Dr. Seleme received her B.S. in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Maryland , in 1987, graduated Cum Laude with her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas , Texas in 1998. She is certified as an Applied Kinesiologist (A.K.), as a Chiropractic Sports Physician (C.C.S.P.), as a Physician Acupuncturist earning a Fellowship with the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture (F.I.A.M.A.). Additional certifications include, N.A.E.T. Allergy Elimination, Cox Decompression for Disc Herniation, Cranial Sacral Therapy, and Brimhall Wellness. She has been a guest speaker for The College of Energetix Medicine, Physician Grand Rounds at Fairfax Hospital as well as for the Northern Virginia Nurses and Pediatric Lactation Consultants at George Washington University Hospital.
Andrea believes in addressing the body as a whole while integrating trigger point and myofascial work to facilitate lasting results. Her typical massage is a combination of techniques tailored to meet the individual’s needs.
She is a life long resident of Fairfax County and currently resides in Springfield , Virginia with her husband of 27 years. She is also the proud mother of two grown sons and grandmother of one grandson. In her leisure she enjoys music, dancing and spending time with her family and friends.
